From 6/30/10 to 8/6/10, on the advice of Dr. Daniel Rubin, Scottsdale, AZ, I received five weeks of hyperthermia
treatments and immunotherapy at the Institute of Thermal and Immune Therapy in Vienna, Austria under the care of Ralf Kleef
MD. While in Vienna, my son and I stayed at the Haydn Hotel, www.haydn-hotel.at, which was very reasonably priced and
less than 5 minutes walking distance to the clinic.
The treatments went well and on
the weekends we took advantage of the awesome Euro rail system and visited Geneva and Zurich, Switzerland; Venice, Italy;
Budapest, Hungary; Prague, Czech Republic; and Bratislava, Slovakia. We actually took the boat back from Bratislava
to Vienna down the beautiful Danube River. Believe it or not, the cost of all these trips were under 1,000 Euros and
really helped me in my battle against cancer.
